AAC Block Packing Section Manufacturing Process




Raw Material Preparation: The first step in AAC block manufacturing involves the selection and preparation of raw materials. The main components of AAC blocks are cement, lime, fly ash, and aluminum powder. These materials are mixed in specific proportions to form a slurry.
Mixing: The slurry is poured into a large mixer, where it is mixed thoroughly to ensure that all the components are evenly distributed.
Molding: The mixed slurry is then poured into molds that have been pre-treated with an anti-stick coating to prevent the blocks from sticking to the mold surface.
Curing: After that, the molds are placed in a big autoclave and cured under high pressure and temperature. The aluminum powder reacts with the other components during the curing process, releasing hydrogen gas. Since the gas creates microscopic air pockets throughout the block, it is lightweight and porous.
Cutting: Once the blocks have been cured, they are removed from the molds and cut into the desired size and shape using specialized cutting machines.
Autoclaving: The blocks are then placed back into the autoclave for a secondary curing process, which ensures that the blocks reach their maximum strength and durability.
Quality Control: Quality control measures are implemented throughout the entire manufacturing process, to ensure that the blocks meet the required standards for strength, density, and durability. The quality control process mainly consists of testing of the raw materials, monitoring of the mixing process, and regular tests on the finished product.
Packing and Shipping: The completed AAC blocks are packed and shipped to clients as the last stage in the production process. The blocks are properly wrapped to avoid damage during transportation and sent to construction sites where they will be employed in building projects.
