The rotating shaft is supported by bearings and rotates, which is a relatively heavy load and a component that is prone to wear and tear.
(1) Fault inspection
Firstly, check the rolling elements of the bearing, whether the inner and outer steel rings are damaged, rusted, or have scars. Then, use your hand to hold the inner ring of the bearing and make it horizontal. Use your other hand to forcefully push the outer rigid ring. If the bearing is in good condition, the outer steel ring should rotate smoothly without vibration or obvious stagnation. After stopping the machine, the outer steel ring should not reverse. Otherwise, the bearing will no longer be able to be used. Grasp the outer ring with your left hand and hold the inner steel ring with your right hand, And push vigorously in all directions. If you feel relaxation during the push, it indicates that it has been severely worn.
When the rolling bearing is out of oil, you will hear noise. If you continue to hear noise, the bearing steel ring may be damaged. If there is sand and other debris mixed in the bearing, or if the bearing components are slightly worn, a slight noise will be generated.
(2) Troubleshooting
The rust spots on the outer surface of the bearing can be cleaned with sandpaper and then lubricated with gasoline; Or if the bearing is broken, the inner and outer rings are broken, or the bearing is excessively worn, a new bearing should be replaced. When replacing a new bearing, please use a bearing of the same model as the original.
