Wire cutting is the process of using continuously moving fine metal wires (called electrode wires) as electrodes to perform pulse spark discharge on the workpiece, ablating the metal and cutting it into shape. Mainly used for processing various complex small workpieces, such as punch heads, concave and convex molds, fixed plates, discharge plates, etc., forming tools, templates, metal electrodes for electric discharge machining, various micropores, narrow gaps, arbitrary curves, etc.
It has outstanding advantages such as small machining allowance, high machining accuracy, short production cycle, and low manufacturing cost. They have been widely used in production. The maintenance key and precautions for wire cutting: Operators must understand the operating techniques of the wire bed and follow the requirements of the machine manual.
The operator must understand the wire cutting process, select appropriate processing parameters, and operate in the order of Yuanbao operation to avoid problems such as wire breakage. After swinging the handle as a storage tube, it should be promptly pulled out to avoid throwing the swinging handle out and injuring people when the storage tube rolls. When loading and unloading electrode wires, be careful to avoid them being caught in your hands.
The replaced waste wire should be placed in the ingot window to avoid electrical short circuits, electric shock, wire breakage, etc. from mixing into the circuit and wire system. Pay attention to avoiding wire breakage and collision of transmission components caused by the inertia of the wire barrel. For this reason, when stopping the machine, the stop button should be pressed as soon as possible after the yarn storage cylinder has just changed back.
